We sat, as a family, and watched Strictly Ballroom this evening. As well as being fabulously entertaining, it is a film that inspires.
It would be very easy to become caught in a life where we opt for security, we play it safe because of what might happen if we do not. The "hero" finally sees that the illusion everyone has created around him is one set in place to justify their life choices; when he trusts Love, and Joy, and dancing for its own sake rather than prestige and money, he is finally free.
